La Tourelle is a short walk from the village of Angles
which has a central square around which can be found a mini supermarket, bar/tabac, general store, antique shop, post office,
butchers and bakery.
During the summer a pizza/crepe stall
is located in the square and a market that sells local produce is set up every Wednesday morning.
Also available in the village are a tennis
and squash court, a boules area and an indoor gym facility where tennis and badminton can be played.

Angles is an 80/90 minutes drive from
the coastal resorts of Narbonne and Beziers and is within a 2 hours drive of 4 airports, Carcassonne being the closest at
1 hour 20.
There are a number of large local lakes (the nearest being a ten minute
drive) which provide plenty of opportunity for water sports, swimming, fishing, cycling, walking or just relaxing on
the lakeside beaches.
Also nearby is the Sidobre National Park with its geological
landscapes, stunning mountain backdrop and 18 hole golf course.
The wine producing areas of Gaillac and St. Chinian are both around an hours drive away. These wines are generally
of good quality as we’re sure you’ll discover as they are available in the village shops and almost every restaurant
in the area.
